For medical missions that cannot wait.

Aging populations and growing pressure on healthcare systems demand faster, more efficient patient transport. Ground ambulances are slow over long distances, while helicopters are costly to operate at scale. Charlie C700 bridges the gap, combining helicopter-like access and speed with significantly lower operating costs.

Designed alongside medical and aviation professionals from Europe’s leading HEMS operators, Charlie C700 features spacious clamshell doors and a cabin optimized for interhospital patient transport. The result is faster, safer loading and unloading, with the same flexible layout supporting logistics and passenger missions.

Five Years of Heavy eVTOL Development, and counting.

Charlie C700 will be ERC's first manned aircraft, certified to comply with EASA's highest safety standards. Charlie's development builds on learnings from flying two full-size, full-mass prototypes and industrializing ERC's first unmanned heavy-lift cargo aircraft.

Charlie C700 inherits the proven foundation of Echo (2023), Romeo (2025) and Victor (2028): Three aircraft that help us mature our technology platform, reduce engineering risk, and bring Charlie C700 to market by 2031.

Partnering to ensure operational readiness.

Operational readiness cannot be engineered in isolation. ERC has been working with globally renowned air ambulance and HEMS operators as well as the regional healthcare system from the earliest moments of Charlie C700’s development.

In collaboration with our strategic partners, we validate and refine technical and operational requirements against real-world mission needs. Together, we define innovative operational concepts and prepare the pathways to integrate a new aircraft category into established healthcare and aviation systems. By aligning aircraft development, clinical workflows, infrastructure, regulation, and operations early, we ensure Charlie is not only ready to fly – but ready to serve from day one.
